Development Team Lead

is a RegTech (tech company managing regulatory processes) and advisory firm empowering their solutions through the proprietary data and software. Polixis assists companies in need of Risk and Compliance solutions. Besides, the company provides data to signal any political, AML, reputational, sanction or other risks, automated KYC reviews, and several types of RESTful APIs. The technology stack includes Java/Spring, Python, React JS, MongoDB and more.

Polixis is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland has offices in Zurich, London, and Yerevan.

To the Yerevan office of the company Polixis is looking for an experienced Development Team Leader to lead the operations of the engineering team.
Development Team Lead
Responsibilities
  • Supervise Development process and related operations keeping close contact with the Geneva Team;
  • Actively support, coach and mentor the team members;
  • Code Review process execution and sprint quality & delivery supervision
Qualifications & Competencies
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Extensive professional working experience as a Java developer in J2EE using any of the following products: Spring, Springboot, Hibernate, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ; Good understanding of OOP programming principles and design patterns;
  • Broad knowledge of modern Artificial Intelligence techniques, Machine Learning algorithms, Natural Language Processing
  • Big Data processing and programming experience
  • Strong math background
  • Programming experience in Python (any other languages such as Java, C++ or JavaScript are a plus)
