We are looking for Machine Learning Tech Lead to join our ML team of 15 strong engineers. We are looking for a leader capable of inspiring and directing the work of creating and improving Recommender Systems, Image Processing, Computer Vision models and implementation of those models to the company's products.

Responsibilities
- Develop and scale algorithms and mathematical models that significantly improve our current ability to make decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data
- Identify and articulate the value that can be derived from application of certain machine learning models
- Lead and be a positive influence on the team of the strongest ML engineers in the region
- Partner with our technology team and other departments to ensure that we are developing the right services, tools and infrastructure
Qualifications & Competencies
- 4+ year of work experience in the industry with different aspects of machine learning
- Experience in leading the team and mentorship
- Deep understanding of classic ML and DL theory, and extensive hands-on experience putting it into practice
- Deep understanding of Bayesian modeling techniques
- Strong background in statistics, linear algebra, calculus and probability theory
- Deep knowledge of Python
- Experience in debugging
- Experience working with Python scripting, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, Jupyter notebooks, Bash scripting, Linux environment
- Deep knowledge of DL frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch, Theano, Caffe)
- Experience working with DCE, CCE (Hadoop or Spark)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with state-of-the-art techniques in machine learning algorithms (deep neural networks including image recognition, image-to-image translation)
Would be a plus
- PhD in Data Science or related fields
- Familiarity with multi-threaded programming
- Experience in teaching data science or related disciplines
