Optym is looking for a Senior ReactJS Developer to work on an advanced transportation optimization system designed for full truckload carriers.
provides automation and optimization software to transportation and logistics companies in the airline, railroad, trucking and mining industries. The software solutions automate decisions and empower businesses.

Optym leverages operations research, computer and data science and industry-specific knowledge to help businesses like Southwest Airlines, CSX Transportation and BHP increase their operational efficiency.
Senior ReactJS Developer
Responsibilities
  • Build engaging applications with reusable and scalable UI components
  • Collaborate closely with other team members and stakeholders to provide updates, as well as to elicit new requirements.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Participate in user experience design and architecture initiatives
  • Perform trouble-shooting, if any, in the phase of implementation, customization, and configuration
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with web development using HTML5, JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge in ReactJS async State Management Framework – Redux
  • Experience building Responsive Design layouts using a Grid layout approach (like Bootstrap), JSS
  • Good understanding of HTML 5 DOM, CSS3
  • Familiar with development and debugging tools for cross-browser issues
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs for server-side functionality
  • Very good English language skills
Would be a plus
  • Familiarity with React Native mobile app development framework
  • Familiarity with npm, Webpack configuration
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
