Vineti closed $35 million Series C round of investment
Vineti is a cloud-based platform created to significantly simplify access to cell and gene therapy and personalized cancer vaccines. The software is serving as an ecosystem for all actors involved in the process of manufacturing and distribution of the treatment.

An investor coalition of industry leaders united with the current investors of the company to support further growth of the company. The funds will go to the development of new products, enhancement of the existing ones, and global commercial expansion.
Krisp launched an app for iOS
Krisp is a noise-canceling app that subtracts background noise during calls. The company recently announced the release of its mobile app for iOS while the desktop app was launched at the end of 2018. The app auto-syncs with the calendar and easily turns on no matter what service (Skype, Zoom or regular phone calls) you use.
Robin the Robot has become the Product of the Day on ProductHunt
Robin is a social robot with AI-based behavioral technology that supports children during medical treatment and their stay at the hospital. The robot expresses emotions, builds interactive dialogues, tells stories, and engages children into play to mitigate the stress and reduce loneliness. Robin is already providing psychological care in a couple of hospitals in Armenia.

The robot was developed by Expper Technology, a startup founded in 2017.

No-smoking challenge
SoloLearn has started a campaign encouraging employees to quit smoking. For those who successfully complete the challenge, the company will sponsor a trip to any European city. Other IT companies start to take up the challenge. Who's next?
Get to know Tom Byrne, Chief Strategy Officer at Digitain
Digitain is one of the biggest employers in the Armenian tech sector. The company is actively hiring repats and is open to specialists from around the world.

Meet Thomas Byrne who joined Digitain team just about a year ago. As a Chief Strategy Officer, he is designing and building the next generation of IGaming products, leading the teams, and working on an expansion to the new markets. Tom is originally from Dublin, Ireland, he has experience working on the European, Asian, and Latin American markets. In the video, Tom gave an insight into what the company and he specifically are doing, and in what way working in Armenia is different from his prior experience.
